At the end of November we embrace and explore the darkness of the season. Allowing a natural slowing down inside and out, connecting to the hibernation of nature. On the Darkness Retreat you get out of the frantic performance and speed of the city, and can allow yourself to clear your mind in an caring, lighthearted way.
Three days and nights in the magnificent Swedish wilderness, close to nature, the lake, the silence, the bonfire and yourself.
At the retreat we will be doing meditations, basic survival techniques and have time to embrace the darkness. We each have our own little camp with lots of time, the healing rhythm of nature and thoroughly simple living to reconnect and get grounded.
The retreat is an opportunity to meet inner and outer darkness with care, trust and curiosity. To learn how to embrace the challenges, prioritize your energy, make a fire, build a shelter and open up your senses and receive the available light.
Johan Skullman from Fjällräven takes care of everything related to our survival, equipment and catering.
Sille Lundquist from Being Human guides meditations and physical exercises – and leads the explorations into the development of open awareness, gentleness and life zest during the days.
NB: The Darkness Retreat is for people with either meditation or outdoor experience.
